About the Adoption Process

How to adopt:

  1. Choose one of our adoptable cats from our Adopt A Pet and PetFinder, as well as on our Instagram!

  2. Fill out online adoption application here!

  3. Please allow for several days for us to review your application and contact your references.

  4. We will contact you to set up a meeting with the cat of your choosing.

  5. Depending on available resources, we will deliver the cat to your home (which requires a home check).

  6. If you are willing to commit to adopting one of our lovable cats, you can find our adoption contract here!

  7. There is a $150 adoption fee for all cats and kittens, payable by cash or Venmo (@whiskersagogo). This fee covers the cost of vaccinations, testing, deworming, microchipping, spay/neuter, and more!

Whiskers-A-GoGo's Kitten Adoption Policy:

Kittens 3-4 months and younger must be adopted with another cat (of any age) or go to a home that already has another animal. There are no exceptions to this policy, which is for the best interest of the kitten to ensure they have a healthy social development!

What to Expect:

You can find suggestions and advice for new cat owners here!

The most adorable Howdy was found on a cold day and brought to a shelter. Howdy was hypothermic and miserable but quickly responded to warm blanket and lots of great food. Good vets checked him out and found him recovering quickly provided love, food and cuddles. Which we have in abundance! Howdy is very playful and harasses our other fosters but we think he will do great in a home either alone - but with a lot of toys or in a home with another kitten and games loving pet - cat or a dog!
